Happy Easter, everyone.
“And Thomas answered to Him, “My Lord and My God!” Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed,” John 20:28-29.
As Jesus showed Himself, specifically for Thomas, Thomas exclaimed calling Jesus Lord [possessing sovereign authority and unlimited jurisdiction] and God [only God can die and live to tell about it]. After that, Jesus declared that those who believe and have not seen are blessed.
As you celebrate and reflect on Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, remember that in spite of the circumstances you face you are blessed. Our belief and trust in God enables Him to remove those obstacles from our paths. Continue to hold on to the promises of the Bible, which is the report of the Lord addressed to those who believe but have not yet seen.
May God’s grace, mercy, favor, and love continue to be catalysts for all of the great things that God has planned for your life and through your life.
