“Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.”
How does one become successful? Is it the connections we develop, the intellect we exercise, the monetary resources we obtain, or a combination of those things? Not quite. These are all possible consequences, yet they do not make the success of an individual.
One’s success is built on their relationship with God. Consider Joseph, who was a slave under Potiphar. Although he was enslaved, he was still considered blessed because God was with him wherever he went.
Likewise, we are to strive for such a relationship. Not only to better our lives, but to empower others as well. Keeping His first as we talk and walk is vital.
He has a greater purpose for reach of us and making a conscious effort to live a life playing to Him is the first step in living to and beyond those expectations in our hearts.
Stay eager to listen to and take guidance from Him.
