This Day In Proverbs: 15 May 2016

Proverbs 15:23

“A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:  and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!”

I, myself, have been guilty of speaking the wrong things during tough situations.  However, feeling discouraged, defeated, or out of sorts is no excuse to wallow in self pity.  Sure, it hurts and yes, it may not have turned out the way you desired.  But guess what… you control your happiness.

Let not your heart be troubled, remember?  One way to do that is by talking.  Say what’s on your mind all the while speaking the positive.  Expect greatness.  If your desires are in accordance with God’s will, surely He has already done everything necessary to make your happiness a reality.  So speak up and take it.

As I mentioned before, it might hurt.  It might be uncomfortable.  But continue to speak those words, the good words, and watch the season of your circumstances change.
